ENCAUSTIC ART

CLASSES

Making encaustic art is an exciting new way of painting.

What is encaustic painting? In a nutshell, it means to burn in. Specifically, you use heat to melt wax so that it liquefies into a workable state.

It's an ancient painting technique dating back at least 2000 years.

The modern encaustic painting technique makes use of low heat irons and beeswax.

This is a painting experience you don't want to miss. Please browse this page for exciting new workshops featuring this wonderful medium.
