AN INTRODUCTION TO

PRINTMAKING

CArol Purdy at the Printing Press

Meet Carol Purdy!

COMING SOON!! COMING SOON!! COMING SOON!!

I was thrilled when Carol Purdy agreed to teach printmaking, here in my studio. You're just going to love working with Carol!

This 2-day workshop is sure to fill up fast and space is limited.

Date: Friday, May 14, Saturday, May 15, 2010

Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm

Fee: $150.00

Here’s your opportunity to explore printmaking with a press. There’s always an element of surprise in this non-direct art form. Carol uses non-toxic inks and methods which makes it safe to do at home.

You’ll get hands-on experience making collagraph and etching plates which you will print. And you’ll learn about using the prints in a Mixed Media way by combining many printing methods and adding collage or image transfer to the piece. Carol will also show you ways to print without the press so you can continue using your plates.

This course is for all levels. It’s a great way to try printmaking without making a long term commitment.

Most supplies are included. Printing paper and rice paper is required.

Date Pre-registration required.
